• Constant is the Always Shifting •
As I sit under this wet tree in the middle of the woods, during these times of collective uncertainty ..
I call upon the calming sound and feeling of cool spring rain, when the Earth is warming and fertile and growing .. the sweet smell of nourishment that rises from wet cedar.. the constant running rivers that trickle through the mountainside.. the buds that will always return home to their branches .. the monthly swelling and energy force of the Full Moon. My moontime returning upon each new slither of the waxing crescent .. my heartbeat that mimics my never ending breath, that mimics the vibrating collective breath of the Earth. The fog that weaves between the trees on the cold wet days .. the delicate moss covered rocks that glisten when the sun peeks his face through the occasional parting clouds.. The symphony of birds celebrating the warming mornings.. and all the plant allies that surround me, that always show up to provide healing for the seasons ahead..
These spring rains have been such a comfort for me during this time, they are seemingly endless but tiny moments of sun pops through, making everything glisten so magically. To let us know He is soon coming. Spring rains is something I feel I can rely on during this time, to renew & bring growth for what is to come.
As I watch her dripping off the branches, I realize that at some point she will leave and not visit as often.. & my ability to rely on her must adapt. She reminds me, the only thing that is certain, is that life in itself is so beautiful because it is inherently uncertain. Making peace with this knowing allows me to feel into the comfort that resides in our ability to collectively evolve.
Recalling upon how nature handles uncertainty with grace, confidence, wisdom and flexibility, is especially comforting during the times we are collectively called to bend with the wind. For I know when the spring rains leave, I will find comfort in the warming embrace of Father Sun. I will find comfort in my ability to adapt & shift, just as the Earth does throughout the spiral. Thank you sweet Spring Rains, for bringing me wisdom in this deep knowing. (at The Pacific Northwest) https://www.instagram.com/p/B-Xp-liHEFw/?igshid=1cjin2ztppnax
